Hundred Acre Wood Boarding and Riding, in Jefferson, Maine, is owned and operated by David and Rachael Richmond. Located on over 100 acres of fields and woods, we are just 15 miles from Augusta and ten minutes from the scenic Maine coast. We offer a variety of services, including boarding, lessons, riding camps, leasing, training, sales, breeding, and clinics.
Our boarding facilities include box stalls with daily turnout, paddocks with run-in sheds, or pasture board in the summer and fall. We also offer two outdoor arenas, a 55' round pen, a jump arena with both stadium and cross-country style jumps, and access to miles of trails. There is a clubhouse with an equestrian library available to all patrons and a lounge area with many amenities.
We welcome all levels and styles of riding. Our goal is to offer a safe, educational riding environment that provides our clients with a non-competitive, fun atmosphere.
